"A Fishing We Will Go"
Went fishing "Up North" this past weekend with friend Lance Becker pictured here with a typical Crappie. We drove 240 miles due north to the town of Orr, Minnesota. We stayed in Orr at the Anderson Motel. The motel goes back about 100 years (at least), the rate was 38 bucks a night, not bad except for the trains that sounded like they were going through your room six or seven times each night.
We fished on Myrtle Lake, one of my favorites. We also fished on Pelican and Black Duck. Funny I never saw a Pelican or a Black Duck. We did see some nice crappies on the last day and they have since been consumed.
Here's me with the one I caught. The City of Orr was so impressed they mounted it along the highway coming into town. The Myrtle Lake bar is no longer serving beer. Bummer!
WELL HERE ARE A FEW MORE QUESTIONS TO PONDER
141. Once youÂre in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?
142. Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
143. What did cured ham actually have?
144. How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be good idea to put wheels on luggage?
145. Why is it that people say they Âslept like a baby when babies wake up like every two hours?
146. If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?
147. If you drink Pepsi at work in the Coke factory, will they fire you?
148. Why are you IN a movie, but your ON TV?
149. Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
150. How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss America?
